Melanie Creek, founder and artistic director of Xpress Dance Company, remains active in the entertainment industry as a guest teacher and choreographer for numerous studios across the U.S. Her dance career began on the high seas upon her completion of a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts. She then ventured to New York to perform in regional theaters, industrials and on television. Her credits include: Grease, Crazy for You, Showboat, Hard Rock Café Live, Nickelodeon, Pepsi and more. While she enjoyed performing, educating young dancers has become her greatest passion. In every avenue of dance instruction, she demonstrates discipline and humility. Her instruction has resulted in students attending prestigious universities for dance, performing on Broadway, at the West End, in LA and for other dance venues like Disney.
